Sahara Bloom Basket

Warm sandy tones woven into a desert bloom with plum and mustard details. Handcrafted by women artisans from the Batoro tribe living in the mountains of Western Uganda. Each piece is crafted from sustainably sourced raffia and banana fibers. The rich colors are created with natural and AZO free dyes expertly created in the artisans' own villages.

Sourced in partnership with Maadili Collective, employing weavers through a cooperative that provides training to single mothers, widows and other marginalized women who are subsistence farmers and weave baskets to provide additional income.
